Computers and the internet are an integral part of today's education. Isle of Wight County Schools recognizes the instructional benefits of technology, while ensuring students are protected from the risks.
The division has developed an Acceptable Use Policy, which all students and staff members review and sign each year. This policy outlines the appropriate use of school computers and the consequences for misuse. In addition, the division incorporates Internet Safety instruction into K-12 curriculum in all nine schools.
