Welcome to our Literacy Page dedicated to the families of students in preschool through grade 5th.
We want our families empowered with these 3 things. :)
1) We want to build your advocacy because you are partly responsible for your student's learning and need to advocate for them.
2) We want to build your agency so that you know how to help your student in their learning.
3) We extend an invitation to you because you are ALWAYS welcome to support your student's learning.

Literacy in IWCS
Here are several resources to support you at home.

Dyslexia Resources
Come to the Special Education Advisory Committee Meeting on October 19th, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Westside Elementary.
We will be discussing Dyslexia since October is Dyslexia Awareness Month! :)
