Windsor High School Student Noah Smith Receives Gold Level Scholarship from VSBA


November 16, 2016 – Four Virginia seniors were awarded 2016 VSBA Exhibitors Scholarships. The scholarships, funded by exhibiting companies at the VSBA’s annual convention, were made available to spring 2017 graduating seniors who had served as student school board representatives. Platinum sponsor M.B. Kahn Construction Company, Gold Sponsor Carter Machinery Company, and Silver Sponsors Ameresco, and ABM Education sponsored this year’s scholarship program, which is in its fourth year.

Freedom High School
Loudoun County Public Schools

Gold Level:
Noah Smith
Windsor High School
Isle of Wight County Public Schools

Silver Level:
Erin Mayhew
Gretna High School
Pittsylvania County Public Schools

Silver Level:
Sugeivis Gomez
T.C Williams High School
Alexandria City Public Schools

The students were recognized earlier today at the VSBA Annual Convention in Williamsburg, VA, which brings together school board members, superintendents, division administrators, and education officials from across the commonwealth.
