Valedictorians and Salutatorians Recognized for Smithfield and Windsor High

Smithfield High and Windsor High held commencement ceremonies on Friday, June 15, at Liberty Live in Hampton, VA.  Windsor High graduated 132 students, with 61 recognized as honor graduates.  The class earned $1,902,130.00 in scholarship money.  Bryce Fowler, whose parents are Chad and Dana Fowler of Suffolk, VA,  is the class Valedictorian.  Fowler will attend Hampden Sydney College and major in English before attending law school. The salutatorian is Kenneth Branch, son of Paul and Julie Branch of Windsor, VA.  Branch will attend Virginia Tech and major in Mechanical Engineering.

Smithfield High had 324 graduates with 142 recognized as honor graduates.  The class earned $5.9 million in scholarship money. The class valedictorian is Ayden Shannon, whose parents are Shawn and Amanda Shannon of Smithfield, VA.   He will attend Princeton University in the fall.  The class salutatorian is Lia Corning.  She is the daughter of Bryan and Keiko Corning of Carrollton, VA.  She will attend Virginia Tech in the fall where she will pursue a major in Neuroscience.
