The IWCS summer school program will provide students with the opportunity to take a new course during the summer for high school credit--Health & PE 9, Health & PE 10, Economics & Personal Finance. This will open-up their schedule during the school year and give them more flexibility to take advanced classes (AP, Dual Enrollment), add additional electives or participate in regional programs (Governor’s Schools). The tuition-based program will be delivered in an online format and will be facilitated by an IWCS teacher. Students must have access to the internet outside of school. Registration Deadline is June 12.
The meeting will take place in the cafeteria at Westside Elementary School at 10:00am to select the architects for the new Hardy Elementary School.

The Isle of Wight County School Board will hold their May 14 meeting in the cafeteria at Westside Elementary School. The meeting will be streamed live through the division's Facebook and YouTube page to allow for an audience while adhering to social distancing guidelines. The meeting will not have an opportunity for in-person public comment. However, anyone wishing to have remarks heard during the citizens comments section of the meeting can email their written comments to Tracey Reutt, Board Clerk, at firstname.lastname@example.org or mail their comments to Isle of Wight County School Board, 820 W.
