IWCS to Hold Parent/Community Forums to Share Proposed Changes to Career and Technology Education (CTE) Program

Isle of Wight County Schools is proposing innovative changes to specific Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs. These changes include a unique scheduling model that will enhance opportunities for students to transition to high-skill, high-wage, high-demand careers.   Isle of Wight County Schools will be sharing this information with parents through community meetings.  If your child has interest in the following programs, we highly encourage you to attend: Agriculture, Building Trades, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Global Logistics (warehousing), Nursing, Welding. The first Parent/Community Forum will be at Windsor High School on Monday, December 3rd at 5:30 pm in the auditorium. A second Parent/Community Forum will be Tuesday, December 4th at 5:30 pm at Smithfield High School in their auditorium.  Please join us either night as we discuss the future of our CTE programs.
