Becoming a Bus Driver

Isle of Wight County Schools continually accepts applications for substitute drivers and aides.  Applicants must be 21 years of age and meet the requirements set forth by VDOE in order to qualify as a substitute driver.

Please reference VA Code 8VAC20-70-280 for requirements for school bus drivers both for employment and continued employment.
