Online Learning and Canvas Resources

Schools throughout Isle of Wight County are busy preparing to welcome families for the first day of the new school year on Tuesday, September 8.  Many students will be starting their year completely online and parents have many questions--How will this look?  How do they login to their classes?  The following information will help students and parents navigate the new online learning environment.

Logging in with Clever:

Parents can access the Clever portal to help their child login to Canvas and to communicate with teachers.  Just go to: 

  • The IWCS Clever Portal: https://clever.com/in/iwcs
  • Login using the information below:
    1. Student username is the student’s IWCS Email Address
    2. Student password is the student’s IWCS Email Password

Or download the Canvas Parent Portal app from the Apple Store or Google Play.
