Each year, the citizens of Isle of Wight County make a significant investment in Isle of Wight County Schools. How is that money being used? What have benefits have been realized from taxpayer funding? This video answers those questions and shows you the results of your investment in Isle of Wight County Schools. somebody once asked the question what could school be we answered somewhere learning is not confined to rows  offering children the chance to explore and express themselves in new and creative ways a place where technology drives and students are put at The Cutting Edge of innovation an opportunity to discover their unique gifts and talents a safer more comfortable space re-engineered and redesigned to give our students and employees a sense of warmth and pride and support to meet the individual needs of all fostering citizenship and collaboration a place to prepare for college careers and life Community Family a home 3 years ago we set out with a vision create a learning environment that would enable every student to discover this or her unique gifts and talents in Isle of Wight County Schools we are blessed to be a part of a community that recognizes the value and importance of the education of all children all of our Advocates the Board of Supervisors the school board our business partners local Civic organizations and all taxpayers you are the champions of our Direction our vision and our plans for the future thanks to your Investments and support imagining and re-engineering the old constructs of Education and building a new meaning to what school can be
