The School Board will hold a special called meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, beginning at 6:00pm in the Westside Elementary School Auditorium, 800 W. Main St., Smithfield, VA 23430. The board will interview the applicants under consideration to fill the vacant District 5 seat.  The board will hear public comments on the candidates and process at the meeting.  The meeting will be streamed live on the IWCS Facebook page and YouTube channel.
