Isle of Wight County Schools will return in-person continuum students to hybrid learning beginning Tuesday, January 19

These two weeks of remote learning after winter break has provided a self-imposed quarantine period for employees and students.  While numbers in the community may be high, those numbers do not correlate to the percent positivity in schools.  Those numbers have been very low due to the mitigation measures in place in all of our buildings and offices and we have experienced no spread among students.  We will also continue to monitor neighboring divisions who, like IWCS, have conducted in-person learning since September, to see if their experiences are similar to ours.

We are looking forward to welcoming back our in-person continuum students next week.  We would also like to remind everyone to continue wearing their masks, watching their spacing, and washing their hands as we all work together to have a successful end to the first semester.
