Before and After Care Program

Isle of Wight County Schools partners with the Luter Family YMCA and Isle of Wight County Department of Parks & Recreation to provide our elementary school families with Before & After School Care.

The YMCA School-Age program provides an environment where children can easily make friends, be part of a group, meet physical challenges, and know that they are liked, respected and appreciated. School-age children participate before and after the school day.  The children also participate in 5210, homework program, games, free time, character development and enrichment programs! Stop by the Y to register.

The Isle of Wight County Department of Parks & Rec provides services for the Kangaroo Kidz Before and After School program.  Kangaroo Kidz offers a fun and safe environment for children at Carrsville Elementary School only. During the program children will have time for games, arts and crafts, and homework. This program is open to Carrsville students kindergarten-5th grade.
