Schedules, Device Distribution and Open House

Information on Student Schedules:
Schools have mailed information to parents with information about student schedules. In addition, the PowerSchool parent portal will open on Monday, August 31. If you used the portal last year to access your child's information, you will be able to sign in on Monday to see their schedule. Teachers may also be reaching out directly to parents prior to Open House.

Device Distribution:
All schools will be distributing devices to students beginning the week of 8/31 (except for SHS which started this week). Each school has established their own schedule and they have shared, or will be sharing, that information with parents. PreK-3 students who will be attending school in person when school starts will be issued their device once they return to school.

Open House:
All Middle Schools and High Schools will hold a Virtual Open House on Thursday, Sept. 3. Students and Parents can Zoom with teachers from 1:00--2:30pm, or 6:00--7:30pm. Individual schools and/or teachers will share specific information with their students and families.

PreK-5th grade students and Westside Elementary 6th grade participating in the 100% virtual option will have a Virtual Open House using Zoom on Wednesday, September 2, at 1:00pm and 6:00pm. Individual schools and/or teachers will share specific information with their students and families.

Students in PreK-3 participating in the Hybrid (A/B) schedule will have a chance to meet their teacher in person on Wednesday, September 2. Schools and/or teachers will be reaching out to families to schedule an appointment for September 2, between the hours of 1:00pm to 7:00pm. This event is open to the parents/guardians and the child(ren) who attend that elementary school. No other guests including siblings should attend the open house. Face coverings must be worn to enter the building.

Please contact your child's school directly for questions about schedules, device distribution, and open house.

Thank you.
