Parents/guardians who need a translator to communicate with a school employee only needs to call the school office and let office staff know which language they need interpreted. Parents/guardians will be placed on a brief hold while staff secures an interpreter for that language.
The Language Group, with whom IWCS has partnered, is a company with over 20 years of experience in interpreting and translation services. In Isle of Wight County Schools, we understand the importance of communicating effectively with all parents in order to keep them actively involved in their child's education. We are excited to launch this new option for families in need of these services and feel confident it will enhance family engagement across the division.
