The Council was delighted to approve a 2023 grant to the the Isle of Wight County Schools Agricultural Land Laboratory, providing a brand-new livestock trailer, to promote opportunities for youth agriculture education."
"We are so grateful to receive this new trailer to provide continued opportunities for learning," said Daniel Judkins, Farm Manager, IOW Agricultural Land Laboratory. "We look forward to taking it to elementary and middle schools for field trips as well as supporting our local 4-H and FFA students who are showing swine among other livestock."
