Eligibility Requirements of Attending Summer School

Our Summer Scholars Academy Program is designed to support students who are below grade level in reading and math. For children to participate, they must be current students in Isle of Wight County Schools and have a history on the report card of being below grade level in reading and math.

All families are encouraged to apply, but slots will be filled based on student academic needs in reading and math.

Application & Acceptance Timeline

Application:

Applications are being accepted for the Summer Scholars Academy between November 8th, 2024 and April 22nd, 2025. There are a limited number of slots. All parents/guardians are encouraged to complete the application; however, there is no guarantee that the child will be accepted into the program. It is also not first come, first serve. This process determines if your child is eligible for the program.
