Children must be four by September 30, 2018. The program is designed for children who may experience or be exposed to factors that could potentially have a negative impact on their school success.
Isle of Wight County Schools is seeking input from the community to assist with the development of a long range facility plan for the division. A survey is available to all parents, employees and community members in order to gather input that will help the division develop a long range plan for facilities. The questions in the survey are similar to the questions shared during the February 5 and February 12 community input meetings. If you attended one of the meetings, we encourage you to still complete the survey. The survey will close on Tuesday, February 20 at 11:55 pm.

At the School Board meeting Thursday night, Isle of Wight County Schools shared plans for designing a support program to meet the needs of all learners. The program, known as UpLift, will provide support to students who have not been successful using traditional instructional methods.
The School Board of Isle of Wight County will hold a Work Session on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at 9:00 am at the School Board Office, located at 820 West Main St., Smithfield. Following the Work Session, the board will hold a Special Called Meeting at 10:30.
